Both MSC and Fort Bend Martial Arts Academy pride themselves on their commitment to the development of their employees and students. As a result, developing an internship program that gives Fort Bend Martial Arts students in high school and college an opportunity to explore different career paths was a natural partnership.

For this inaugural summer session, two students from Fort Bend Martial Arts Academy were selected as interns of MSC. During the program, they learned about MSC,  tax credits and incentives, essential business functions, and the Internal Revenue Code. The learning areas focused on key areas such as. new service line development, client research and client management preparation, data analysis, and B2B sales and marketing.

Throughout the internship, the students collaborated and met with different people within the firm who guided them in different projects and tasks that added value to the firm, client work, and their growth as young professionals. The experience gave them an opportunity to explore a potential career path and learn in a supportive environment.

Both companies are excited about these students’ futures and look forward to helping more students in the coming summer sessions.
